Wedding in Santorini, Venetsanos winery
Francesca and Ashley chose to have their wedding ceremony at the beautiful venue of Venetsanos Winery, located right above the port of Athinios. The first industrial winery on the island of Santorini was built in 1947 by the Venetsanos family. Using the gravity, the winery was constructed from top and moving to downwards, offering breathtaking and unforgettable views of the caldera of Santorini and the volcanic islands around. Truly an ideal venue for a wedding in Santorini.
Bridal & Groom preparation
The day began at the Venetsanos winery. The bride and groom spent the morning preparing for the big day ahead. The bride was getting her hair and makeup just perfect, while the groom and his groomsmen had fun and took some time to relax before the festivities began.
As the morning turned to afternoon, the excitement began to build, and everyone awaited the arrival of the couple. The natural greenery and flowers perfectly decorated the venue, added touch of elegance and beauty to the ceremony. The bride looked amazing in her stunning white gown. Francesca and Ashley exchanged their vows in a beautiful ceremony overlooking the magic Aegean Sea. The sun setting over the caldera provided an unforgettable backdrop for the couple’s special moment.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour on the winery’s terrace, sipping on local wines and enjoying the stunning views of the island. Meanwhile, we had the chance to take more photos with the couple on the magical scenery of Santorini island.
The party took place at Theros Wave Bar, which is located on the cliffs of Vlychada on Eros Beach. Surrounded by volcanic rocks and offering magnificent views of the endless horizon, it was the perfect location for celebrating a wedding in Santorini.
The reception was a feast for the senses, with delicious food, drinks, and music that got everyone up and dancing. Francesca and Ashley made their grand entrance to thunderous applause, and then enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife at one of the most picturesque spots on the island. The night was filled with laughter, love, and joy, and everyone left with memories that would last a lifetime.
